| The Kansai International Airport (KIX) was constructed in 1994 as the world’s first airport on a man-made island. KIX serves an international network of 28 countries and regions and 67 cities, as well as serving the most cities within China of any airport in Japan. |

| Centrally located on Osaka Bay, the Port of Osaka serves as a hub port in “Kansai” for international logistics. There are ferries running from the Port of Osaka to western Japan, Shanghai and Pusan. |
