| RooBO is a network of companies established to create new business using robot technology. Efforts are under way through the network to tackle various robot-business-related challenges and promote collaborative projects between companies possessing excellent constituent technologies. |

Moreover, the Kansai Region has unique R&D centers, such as Saito Life Science Park in northern part of Osaka Prefecture, and research centers for the Kobe Medical Industry Development Project in Kobe City. Surrounded by such R&D centers, the City of Osaka offers an ideal environment, with a support system through an industry-academia-government network, for healthcare and preventive medicine-related companies to conduct R&D, commercialization and marketing activities. |
